Three-star off to a fast start

Three-star linebacker Dwight Roberson (6-0, 215, 4.6) from Ventura (Calif.) Saint Bonaventure is off to a great season and is one of the reasons that Saint Bonnie is a perfect 4-0. Roberson had an excellent off-season and it has showed.
"Dwight has one a game for us almost single handily," Saint Bonaventure coach John Mack said. "He was awesome in our opener against Ridgecrest (Calif.) Burroughs."

Roberson has been awesome all season long. So far in four games, Roberson has accounted for 21 tackles and one sack. His performances have not gone unnoticed.
"Recruiting is going great for Dwight," Mack said. "Oregon State and Boston College lead but there are other schools jumping on the bandwagon."
"Northwestern was by the school and Colorado recently requested film on Dwight," Mack said. "Oregon State and Boston College have been recruiting him the hardest."
Oregon State, Boston College and Colorado State have all offered Roberson a scholie.
"The first that strikes you about Dwight is he's special," Mack said. "He is very versatile."
"Dwight played defensive tackle for us as a freshman, defensive end as a sophomore, middle linebacker as a junior and now he's playing Will (weakside linebacker)."
"Because Dwight has played so many different positions and played them well," Mack said. "He has a great knowledge of the game."
"Dwight has a great nose and great speed to the football," Mack said. "He makes a lot of plays."
Roberson will lead his 4-0 Seraph teammates against 2-1 Encino (Calif.) Crespi tonight in the smoke filled because of the fires, San Fernando Valley.
