Three-star NorCal OL sets first visit

Three-star offensive lineman Fred Koloto (6-4, 270, 4.9) first gained attention with a standout performance at USC's big man camp last June.
While four-star defensive tackle/tight end DaJohn Harris was busy kicking butt and taking names at the camp, only one player stopped him all day and that player was Koloto.

Koloto is doing the job on both sides of the ball as a senior playing offensive left guard and defensive tackle helping his team to a 7-1 record.
So far Koloto has five offers on the table from Utah, BYU, San Jose State, Nebraska and Washington.
"I have set up one visit to Washington on December 8th," Koloto said. "That is the only one so far."
"I have been talking to other schools that have offered me about taking visits," Koloto said. "I have also been talking to Arizona and Oregon about visits.
"I probably won't make my college decision until January and February."
"I like what Coach Tyrone Willingham is doing with his program," Koloto said. "He is bringing Washington back to being one of the top programs in the Pac 10. The whole coaching staff is doing a great job."
"Washington signed one of the nation's best quarterbacks last year," Koloto said. "And they told me they need offensive linemen to protect him over the next four years."
"I really don't have favorite school at this time," Koloto said. "I want to give everyone a chance because every school has something different that I might like."
"I'm going to talk my parents and my coaches for advice when the time comes to make a decision," Koloto said. "In the end though the decision will be mine."
