Three-star linebacker lands second offer

JoJo Domann got some skiing in Saturday afternoon and, by the time he made his way down the mountain, he had landed his second scholarship offer.
The three-star outside linebacker had a big junior season, guiding Colorado Springs (Colo.) Pine Creek to a second consecutive state title, and his name has undoubtedly surfaced as one to watch for the 2016 class.

Kansas State joined in-state Colorado on the 6-foot-1, 208-pound prospect's offer sheet Saturday.
"It's crazy," Domann said. "A lot of other schools have been talking to me, too. I was skiing and I got a call out of nowhere when I got down from the mountains. It's surreal -- you don't really think it's happening to you. It's big for me because both my parents went to Kansas and I have some family members who went to Kansas State. It's definitely one of my favorite schools."
Domann was on the Kansas State campus this past summer for a 7-on-7 tournament. He also took an unofficial visit and attended the Wildcats' first game of the season in late August.
"K-State actually asked me what position I wanted to play, but I don't really know. I told them I'll play wherever they need me," Domann said. "Colorado offered me as an outside backer, kind of a rover type. It all depends on how I develop physically."
Wyoming has also been in steady contact, Domann said, while Missouri and UCLA recently reached out as well.
"Before even getting the scholarship offers, I was thinking of camping at Colorado and Kansas State," Domann said. "I still might, but maybe I'll just do unofficial visits. I'd probably also want to get out to Nebraska. My boys Avery Anderson and Eric Lee are going there, and they've showed me quite a bit interest. Coach [Mike] Riley came to Pine Creek to speak with Avery recently and he seems like a great man of character."
Domann caught 49 passes for 797 yards and 10 touchdowns, and rushed for 205 yards and another score as a junior this past fall. On defense, he totaled 61 tackles, seven interceptions and two caused fumbles.
