Three-star LB sets three trips

Three-star linebacker Kevin Garrett (5-11, 205, 4.6) from Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne is having a whale of a senior season. He is one of the catalysts for a surprising Narbonne team that currently stands at 7-2. There only losses came at the hands of Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft and reigning City Champs Carson, Calif.
On the season Garrett has accumulated 90 tackles, 24 of them for loss, five sacks, four fumble recoveries (one that he returned 40 yards for a touchdown), and because of his bone jarring hits two forced fumbles.

Garrett has offers from Arizona, Oregon, Washington State, Utah and San Jose State.
UCLA, Cal, LSU and Notre Dame are all showing interest in Garrett. He was in attendance for the UCLA/Washington State game on Saturday.
“I like both UCLA and Washington State,” Garrett said. “But I would say I like Washington State more than UCLA because the Cougars have offered.”
“I like the way Washington State plays defense,” Garrett said. “I think I would fit into their defensive scheme very well.”
“All of the teams that have offered are on equal footing until I take my trips,” Garrett said. “I have set up three visits already.”
Garrett will visit Oregon this coming weekend on November 12th. He has a visit scheduled to Cal on November 19th and his third visit is set to Washington State on December 10th.
Arizona and Utah look to be in the best shape to land the last two visits.
“I will probably take all five visits before I make up my mind,” Garrett said. “My parent will be involved in my decision.”
Rivals.com named Garrett to its Preseason California Top 100 team for the class of 2005 landing as the Golden State’s number 91 prospect at any position.
