Three-star LB is planning to take visits

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard linebacker Daerius Washington holds a handful of scholarships. The 6-foot-0, 190-pounder is attempting to take some unofficial visits in the near future.
"I'm try to get on some unofficial visits to UCF to talk to their coaches and Auburn on the 17th," he said. "That's kind of it for the summer. I haven't been anywhere recently."

Does Washington like anybody?
"I can't really say I like anyone," he said. "I've got a few coaches I really keep in touch with. I really like Coach Thigpen from Auburn, the coach from Buffalo and the coach from Middle Tennessee State."
Auburn hasn't pulled the trigger to date, but as he stated earlier he is visiting.
"It's really hard to explain with Auburn," he said. "I'm not sure how interested they are in me. I've met the defensive coordinator and he came down to see me, they haven't talked about offering."
Meanwhile, what is the three-star prospect's plan from here?
"I'm not really sure on officials," he said. "I definitely want to visit some places. If everything stays the same most likely I'll take a trip to Rutgers since I've heard their facilities are great. I'm not sure where else yet."
The Florida prospect is working hard preparing for the season.
"I've got a good trainer and Al Harris (NFL) is here on the field sometimes since he's from around the area," he said. "I've worked out with him.
"I'm improving a lot, working on my speed, getting faster and stronger."
