Three-star LB considers officials

Ashland (Va.) Patrick Henry linebacker Adrian Cavanaugh continues to hold a half dozen offers. The 5-foot-11, 210-pounder is starting to look into official visits in the near future.
"I've got the same six offers, Army, Navy, Richmond, William & Mary, JMU and Norfolk State," he said. "I'm planning to take visits to most of them. I want to take one to JMU, Navy and William & Mary.

"I think I'm going to JMU when they play Appalachian State on September 20th."
Do any schools stick out?
"From the visits I've been on this summer, all of the schools seem like good programs," he said. "It really comes down to what I want to study academics. I'm still trying to figure that out. All of them have good academic program. Then it's just officials and seeing the environment and how the players interact."
The three-star prospect opens his season on September 5th.
"We've been scrimmaging," he said. "I think we have the potential to be very good. We're putting a whole lot of brand new stuff in."
