Three-star LB adds two offers

JoJo Domann visited a couple friends over the weekend and returned home with a lot to think about.
The three-star outside linebacker from Colorado Springs (Colo.) Pine Creek made a trip to Nebraska to learn more about the Cornhuskers and also caught up with former high school teammate Avery Anderson and 7-on-7 teammate Eric Lee, whom are already enrolled and participating in spring practice. Then, on Junior Day, the 6-foot-1, 208-pound Domann picked up an offer from Nebraska, making the visit all the more special.

"I toured the facilities and met with coach (Trent) Bray and coach (Mike) Riley, and I was really excited," Domann said. "I was hoping the whole day that an offer would come and when it did, it was a great relief. It was great."
Domann also added an offer from California to his list that includes Colorado, Colorado State, Kansas State, Nevada and Utah State. He said he wants to make a decision this summer, preferably by the July 4 weekend.
"I want to be 100 percent committed to a school so I can focus entirely on my high school team and win another state championship," Domann said.
Nebraska, Domann stated, has "everything" he's looking for -- Anderson and Lee are there, it's relatively close to home and the new coaching staff showed him the enthusiasm that has many optimistic about the program's future.
"I won't be naming a leader, but it's definitely awesome to have an offer from Nebraska under my belt," Domann said. "It was great seeing coach Bray at practice. He's in your face and energetic. He always has something to say and I love the way he coaches. That was awesome."
Cal, too, could be an intriguing option for the reigning Colorado Defensive Player of the Year.
"They called me when we were on the way back home from Nebraska and they want me to get out there for a visit," Domann said. "That would be awesome. I'll definitely try to visit -- who doesn't want to go out to California?"
All the schools on Domann's offer sheet have plans to swing through Pine Creek this spring. He said he might take a visit to Michigan on March 25.
Domann had 61 tackles, including seven for a loss, and seven interceptions as a junior last fall. He also caught 49 passes for 797 yards and 10 touchdowns, and also added a rushing score while averaging more than 10 yards per carry.
