Three-star LB adds three new offers

Three-star linebacker Joshua Alaeze out of Parkville, Md. has added three new offers recently. The 6-foot-1, 218-pounder is up to five scholarships and is now making plans for summer camps.
"I added three more offers from Akron, Rhode Island and Old Dominion," he said. "They were all kind of unexpected. They watched my film."

To date, Alaeze hasn't pulled a BCS offer, but is hearing from a number of schools.
"I'm hearing a lot from Florida, Miami, Tennessee, North Carolina and Oklahoma," he said. "Aubrey Hill from Miami told me he'll let me know in the next week or two.
"A lot of teams like North Carolina and Tennessee are talking about camping. I can say I'll be at Tennessee on June 18th, North Carolina on June 13th and Florida in July."
Does Alaeze like anybody at this time?
"I'm not really going to call out favorites, I'm interested in any school," he said. "I'm just looking for somewhere I'm comfortable and find the best situation. I realize after my brother's situation that I need grades for everything and I don't want a place where I can get an easy A. I want to be prepared and want a school that takes athlete's education seriously so I'll be prepared for life."
Alaeze recently wrapped up track where he placed fifth in the state regionals in the shot putt.
