Three-star LB adds Oregon State offer

Andrzej Hughes-Murray received a pleasant surprise Tuesday night in the form of his first Pac-12 offer.
The three-star inside linebacker from Federal Way, Wash., added Oregon State to his list and the Beavers certainly appear to be in great position to at least host him on a visit.

IN HIS WORDS: "I'm fired up," Hughes-Murray told Rivals.com. "I spoke with the defensive coordinator (Kalani Sitake) and linebackers coach (Ilaisa Tuiaki), and I just can't wait to get out there. I'll be taking a visit to Oregon State some time soon.
"This means a lot. I just want to thank God and the coaches at Oregon State for this opportunity. I can't wait to share this with my parents because they haven't gotten home yet, so they'll be pretty thrilled. I'm waiting to see how everything goes right now with my recruitment, but I've been talking to coach Tuiaki since the summer when I camped with them and I know he was high on me. He got my film in front of the whole staff, and he said they want to use me inside and outside so I can use my speed to make plays. The biggest thing that stood out to me on that trip to Corvallis was seeing how sincere coach Tuiaki is and has been up until this point. That's the biggest thing for me. I also really liked what I got to see of the campus and facilities. I just want to get down there and see the whole package."
WHAT'S NEXT?: Hughes-Murray has also been in steady contact with Air Force, New Mexico, UNLV and Utah State. He said he is trying to figure out when the best opportunity is for him to see the Beavers in action. Next weekend, when Oregon State hosts UCLA, is a possibility and so is the Nov. 20 weekend when they face Washington.
