Three-star LB adds offer, maps out visits
Three-star linebacker Christian Russell continues to land offers. In the meantime, the 6-foot-0, 225-pounder is heading out to make a few unofficial visits.
"My newest offer is from Virginia," he said. "I'm up to nine or ten offers now.

"I know they've got new coaches, but I don't know much more about them."
Meanwhile, Russell is trying to find out more on a few other schools.
"I'm making plans to visit North Carolina, Miami, Alabama and probably Wake Forest. I don't know when yet."
Three of the four have offered, what's the situation with Alabama?
"They are interested, but haven't offered," he said. "They want me to come to camp."
Nearing double-digit offers, does Russell like anybody?
"It's still kind of open I guess," he said. "I'm starting to look at narrowing it down, that probably won't happen till after the season when I make my final decision."
Russell is currently focused on the season and improving himself.
"I was just in the Shrine Bowl combine and other than that I'm working hard," he said. "I'm getting faster, stronger and working on every ability I can."
