Three-star Juco DT pulls the trigger

Three-star defensive tackle Tolifili Liufau (6-3, 310, 4.9) from Fresno (Calif.) City College has made his decision. It came down to Arizona and Utah even though some schools tried to get in the hunt but in the end it was too late.
"I made up my mind," Liufau said. "I'm going to Utah."

"One of the good things about Utah is they have direct flights to Hawai'i," Liufau said. "That makes it easier for me to get home and visit my family."
"Another thing I like about Utah is I have a lot of friends on the team," Liufau said. "Now I'm going to work in the classroom and get myself ready."
"There were some other big schools that also tried to get a hold of me according to my coach," Liufau said. "My coach didn't even tell me who they were."
It is funny how some things work out. A week ago Utah wasn't even on the map as Liufau thought he was going to be an Oregon Duck. There were academic issues so Liufau saw himself back on the recruiting trail.
Arizona was all over the situation and was the only school that was recruiting him and that was where Liufau though he was headed.
Utah found out that Liufau was once again available and made rush plans for a one day visit and obviously the Utes made the most of it.
Great get for Utah.
