Three-star has sights on visits

Three-star running back Brandon Johnson (5-9, 184, 4.5) from Compton (Calif.) Dominguez is known as a "money' player. When the pressure is on, Johnson comes through.
Johnson gained his reputation as a junior when he accounted for 1,500 yards and 24 touchdowns while sharing the rock with two outstanding seniors in Elijah Wesson and quarterback/safety Oregon bound, Marvin Johnson.

Dominguez received a huge game out of Johnson in the CIF Championship game when he rushed for 258 yards and four touchdowns leading the charge to dethrone three-time CIF champion Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame.
The talented running back ended up earning first-team all-league, all-CIF and all-state as a junior while being selected second-team to the prestigious Long Beach Telegram Dream Team.
Johnson has offers on the table from Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Mississippi State, Boise State, Utah, and Colorado.
"I'm pretty open with everybody right now," Johnson said. "I probably won't commit until signing day.
"I want to take all five trips. Maybe once I take my visits, I will make up my mind.
"I haven't set any visits as of yet. I'm not going to do that until after the season starts."
"I know I want to visit Washington, Oregon and Cal," Johnson said. "I don't know at this time, which the other two colleges will be.
"I like Cal because they are a young team and they are pretty good. I also like the fact that they run the ball a lot and that they throw to their backs."
"Oregon is a lot like Cal," Johnson said. "I know a lot of people up there. My cousin Derrick Jones plays up there.
"Oregon's offense showcases a running back's versatility. It makes you a complete back."
"Washington is an up and coming program," Johnson said. "I hear they have nice facilities up there. I've never been up there before but I know people who have and have said nothing but good things about Washington."
