Three-star gets late Pac 10 offer

Three-star defensive lineman Robert Ash (6-4, 250, 4.9) from Elk Grove (Calif.) Oaks recently picked up a Pac 10 offer, but was it big enough for him to change his commitment to Boise State?
"I just recently received an offer from UCLA," Ash said. "I'm not going to take a visit. I'm pretty solid on Boise State.

"I was thinking of taking a visit to UCLA, but I would have to de-commit," Ash said. "I didn't want to de-commit from Boise State.
"Boise State for me right now is the best place for me, hands down," Ash said. "I love the atmosphere, the coaching staff and the players at Boise State.
"The city itself is calm," Ash said. "It's a lot like Elk Grove. I just love everything about Boise State pretty much.
Besides Boise State and UCLA, Ash also had offers from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, San Diego State, Fresno State, Nevada, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State and Colorado.
Ash earned second-team all-metro and first-team all-league after racking up 76 tackles, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles and one blocked field goal. He was also selected to the Rivals.com California postseason top 100 team for the class of 2011 landing as the Golden State's No. 92 prospect at any position.
The Broncos get a good one in Ash.
