Three-star end picks Duke

The commits keep on rolling for Duke today and the latest one comes from a talented three-star defensive end. The 6-foot-3, 211-pounder made his choice earlier tonight over offers from Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, NC State and Maryland.
"I committed a little while ago to Duke," Charlotte (N.C.) Victory Christian defensive end Justin Foxx said. "I called Coach Cutcliffe and my recruiting coach. They were real happy to have me. They knew I fit at Duke."

What did Foxx like about the Blue Devils?
"It was something about the coaches," he said. "I have a great relationship with them and it's a fun group. I prayed about my decision and God told me that Duke is the right place for me."
The No. 19 weakside end went on about the coaches.
"I just knew that they liked me," he stated. "They were real people and are all-around good guys.
"Coach Cutcliffe is a very energetic, fun coach. I'm looking forward to playing for him. I love the rest of the staff too including Coach MacIntyre. I have a great relationship with those guys."
Of course, education is a factor as well.
"That was big," he said. "Everybody can't get a degree from Duke. I'm not sure what I want to major in, but it felt like home."
As far as playing time, the coaches haven't discussed that too much yet.
"They just said they see me being a speed rusher off the end."
Foxx confirmed he's very solid in his choice.
"Duke is the place for me."
