Miami (Okla.) Northeastern Oklahoma A&M J.C. three-star defensive tackle John White is closing in on a decision.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder has two official visits lined up and should have a decision sometime after that and before mid-term junior college signing day on Dec. 15.
"I go to La Tech this weekend, and then after that I'm going to down to Utah," White said. "It's between those two schools."

White also had an offer from North Texas, but said offers from Utah and La Tech seem to be better fits for him.
"I'll find out more about La Tech tomorrow, but I'm being recruited by Chino Fontennette," White said. "He's a good guy. I want to learn more about them for sure. With Utah, I'm being recruited by Gary Andersen. They dominate in the Mountain West. Coach Anderson is a good coach for sure."
Other schools like Arkansas, Kansas State, Michigan State, Oregon, Texas A&M and West Virginia had been linked to White earlier in the recruiting process.
