Three Star DL still fairly open

Three-star Texas defensive lineman still open in his recruiting process….

Garland, Texas defensive end Dale Dixson is hearing from quite a few schools in the south and Midwest. Among the schools in contact with him are Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Georgia, SMU, TCU, Nebraska and LSU. "I'm hearing the most from Oklahoma and Texas A&M right now," Dixson said, "but I'm pretty open yet." All the teams mentioned above have offered Dixson a scholarship.

The 6-foot-3, 265 pounder has not set any official visits yet.

Which teams likely will get those visits? "I think I will visit Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Nebraska," Dixson said, "and I'm not sure about any others."

Dixson has totaled 30 tackles and two sacks in four games playing at both end and tackle.
