Three-star DB schedules Big East visit

Three-star defensive back Jordan Lucas of Worcester (Mass.) Worcester Academy has already taken one official visit, has one more scheduled in January and is also waiting to hear back from a few more schools with the hopes of adding to his visit schedule.
"Things are going pretty good," said Lucas, who is 6-foot-1 and 195-pounds. "I'm just waiting to hear back from some schools. I'm waiting to hear back from Maryland and Wake Forest, and I'm going on an official to Rutgers on January 20th."

While he has set an official to Rutgers, the Scarlet Knights have not yet offered.
"They are making sure numbers are right for them to make the offer," said Lucas. "I've been hearing from Coach Kyle Flood and Coach Robb Smith, but more of Coach Flood. I like the both of them. They seem to be very good people."
A few weeks ago Lucas took his first official visit to Old Dominion.
"It went very well," said Lucas. "I enjoyed myself and I loved the coaching staff. Everything around that school is new and its just getting better. It's a very nice campus and area."
Lucas is holding offers from Akron, Old Dominion and Massachusetts, but claims that the most current interest is coming from Old Dominion, Villanova, Maryland and Rutgers. When it does come time to make a final decision, Lucas knows what he will be looking for.
"A place where I can be an impact early, have a good supporting cast, such as coaches, and academic support," said Lucas. "Also a place with a nice atmosphere and a place I can picture myself at for four or five years."
Lucas also gave a quick recap of his senior season.
"I ended the year with 13 touchdowns, about 530 yards rushing, 300 yards receiving and one interception," said Lucas.
