Three-star DB picks Washington

Taylor Rapp landed some notable scholarship offers in recent months, but on Friday he took a local visit and decided to end his recruitment. He had seen all he needed to.
The three-star safety from Bellingham (Wash.) Sehome committed to Washington while on campus, opting to put a finish to a process that had started to gain some steam recently with a major offer from Stanford arriving earlier in the week.

The Huskies, though, held onto one of top prospects from their own backyard.
"I just feel like it fits me," Rapp said. "The biggest selling point is that you're built for life and that got me. What excites me the most is that they're all genuine coaches."
Rapp also held offers from Arizona State, Boise State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oregon and Washington State. He visited the Ducks in late January, but it was the local factor that was most appealing.
"The location," Rapp said. "I feel comfortable and it just feels right."
Rapp said he would not take any more trips as he's completely locked in with the Huskies.
The 5-foot-11, 197-pound defensive back is the second commitment for Washington in the 2016 class, joining four-star athlete Brandon Wellington.
