Three-star DB is eyeing officials

Three-star safety Nate Smith has taken it easy this summer. The Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood Catholic defensive back hasn't taken any visits, but the 5-foot-11, 176-pounder is eyeing trips in the future.
"It's been the same old same old, everything is going slow with recruiting," he said. "I haven't really visited any schools and probably won't. I'm focused on the season.

"I'm probably going to take my official visits and then decide around the fifth or six game of the season."
Smith claims five offers from Michigan State, South Carolina, Temple, Toledo and West Virginia. According to Smith, South Carolina is going to get a trip.
"I know I'm going to take one of my visits to South Carolina for when they play Florida," he said. "It's a big game and I want to see how they play under pressure."
The No. 20 safety in the country maintains no favorites, saying, "I like all the schools that have offered me."
One school moving in still is Cincinnati.
"I'm still talking to them," he said. "They are going to see how I do this season, that depends if I get an offer," he said. "I think I'm going to get more offers.
"Right now I'm waiting till the fifth or sixth game. If I get more offers, I'll probably hold off till later, whenever the time is right."
