Three-star DB considering JUCO route

For many prospects that need to boost their academics the junior college route turns out to greatly help them in the long-run.
That appears to be the course Charlotte (N.C.) North Carolina Tech safety William Marable wants to take. A side effect may be an increase in interest from major football programs if he continues to improve.

"The newest thing with me is that I'm probably going to be at a junior college somewhere. I don't really know which one yet but it will probably be Louisburg (College).
"I'd be going there in January mainly for academics, and I would be there for a year or two. I would open my recruiting back up, too. I'm still trying to figure everything out, though.
"If that doesn't work out then I'll probably go back to prep school."
About 90-percent of those who attend Louisburg end up at a four-year university upon completion of a two-year program. The school is three-hours from Marable's home in Charlotte.
"Our season went okay this year," Marable continued. "I think it went pretty well. I played postgraduate football and enjoyed it."
The 6-foot, 195-pound defensive back is rated the No. 83 safety in the Class of 2009, and is listed as the fifth fastest.
He had received offers from Akron and Coastal Carolina.
