"For me personally, Boise State presents an excellent opportunity for early playing time," Sumler said. "Boise State only has one returning running back on scholarship."
"I was tempted to commit to Boise State, because not only do they have a good football team but the school is great as well," Sumler said. "I want to take other visits so I have something to compare to."
"Boise State is very high on my list," Sumler said. "I want to check out other schools."
Next up on Sumler's traveling agenda is Fresno State. He will visit the Bulldog's campus on December 7th. Colorado State is another school that could get a visit.
The Utah Utes had a coach at Cathedral's game last Friday Evening and that school has shown interest in Sumler as well.
Boise State and Fresno State are the two teams that are recruiting Sumler the hardest.
Sumler is off to a fine senior season. He has rushed for over 1,700 yards and has scored 24 rushing touchdowns. Sumler also told Rivals.com that he has around 20 catches on the season but was unsure of the receiving yardage.
