Three-star close to decision

Brian Allen said he had an exceptional visit to Utah this weekend but the La Marque, Texas, wide receiver has not committed.
It could be only days until the three-star makes his decision though. The Utes are the clear frontrunner in his recruitment.

"I didn't commit but I just got back from my visit," Allen said.
"Coach (Kyle) Whittingham is coming to my house (Monday) so if not (Monday) by the end of the week I'll make my decision."
The 6-foot-3, 187-pound three-star receiver said he loved his trip to Utah and definitely hit it off with the players and coaches.
Playing in the Pac-12 isn't a huge selling point, Allen said, he's more focused on his relationship with the coaching staff and that was one of the best things he found during his trip to Utah.
Overall, Allen said it was a great visit.
"It was nice," Allen said. "I had never seen anything like that before. It was really nice out there.
"The coaches were nice. The players were nice. My mentor showed me around campus and I really liked it. It was a great atmosphere. Right now they're my favorite."
Even if Allen makes his decision in the next few days, the Texas three-star prospect said he plans to visit Nevada next weekend.
The La Marque prospect visited UTEP in October and also lists offers from North Texas and Wyoming.
