Three-star CB schedules first official

Three-star cornerback Michael Williams out of Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha has scheduled his first official visit. Where is the 5-foot-11, 175-pounder headed?
"I've got an official to Maryland for December 10th," he said. "That is the only visit I have scheduled so far.

"I am planning on taking one to Illinois and probably some others after the season."
The No. 17 prospect in Maryland discussed his plans for the visit to Maryland.
"That was the first school that got dates to me, so that's why I scheduled it. I'm planning to go up with some of my teammates, Delonte Morton and Jordan Lomax."
At this time, Williams claims offers from Buffalo, Illinois, Maryland, Ohio and Towson.
"I still have the five offers, I'm planning to send my highlight tape out there to see what's going on. I'm just getting it together now."
Currently Williams maintains no favorites.
The corner prospect and DeMatha are coming off a big 31-28 victory over Good Counsel last weekend.
"That was really big, we really needed it," he said. "The season is going well and I'm showing up in games, I'm showing what I've got and making a name for myself.
"I haven't had an interception yet, I'm still waiting for that first one, but I've seen a big improvement. I've got more confidence and I'm more comfortable with my skills this year. I know the speed of the game."
