Three-star CB has two visits in mind

Lancaster, Texas cornerback Kerry Lewis has the summer behind him and the season in front of him and that's the way he wants it. After picking up numerous offers in the offseason, the 5-foot-9, 178-pounder is ready to kick things off for his senior year starting with a Friday scrimmage against Lakeview Centennial.
"It's been great," Lewis said of practice so far. "I've been flying around. Everything has been going great. I'm playing safety and cornerback."

Over the summer Lewis took in a camp at Tulsa along with a few others. Now that the schools that are recruiting him are starting to become clear, Lewis knows which campuses he definitely would like to visit. Two official visits are already in the works.
"I'm going to visit Kansas State and Vanderbilt I know for sure and then after the season I'm going to take the other three. I'm going to Vandy I believe it's November 8 and I'm not sure when I'm taking my Kansas State visit."
Though Lewis is not ready to name any favorites, he does note that Vanderbilt and Kansas State are near the top.
"They're in my top but honestly I'm not really favoring anyone there just on my top. Those are the two schools that are recruiting me the hardest."
Saying that there are about six schools out in front right now, Lewis lists those six as TCU, Vanderbilt, Kansas State, Arizona, Kansas and Oklahoma State. He doesn't anticipate making a college decision until after his senior year.
