Three-star CB has six offers

Cornerback Xavier Woods out of West Monroe, La. holds six offers. The three-star prospect has been to a couple of camps this summer and plans to hit two more as he looks to expand his options.
"I have about six offers from Houston, Southern Miss, Tulane, Arkansas State, Memphis and ULM," he said. "I went to Alabama and Oklahoma State for camps.

Woods shared a few thoughts about both camps.
"Alabama was great," he said. "I did great down there, I was all-second team, while at Oklahoma State I was the top corner at the camp."
Both schools spoke to Woods about a possibility of an offer.
"Alabama is probably not going to offer with the way the numbers are,"
he said. "Oklahoma State said they are only offering one more corner and they want to wait until all their evaluations are done."
With the possibility of Oklahoma State offering, Woods is intrigued by the potential of the Cowboys.
"It was great there," he said. "It was a great experience and I got to tour the facilities. The coaches were good."
Woods is still hoping to camp at Georgia Tech and LSU later this summer.
"They both said they aren't going to offer another corner until they see me," said Woods. "LSU wants to see me at camp."
The No. 51 corner in the nation maintains no favorites at this time, but he did discuss what he hopes to find in a college.
"I want a top program," he said. "I'm just looking to play early wherever I go and location doesn't really matter."
