Three-star behemoth returns from Arizona

Three-star offensive lineman Mike Harris (6-6, 310, 5.3) from Duarte, Calif., took his visit to Arizona this weekend and was impressed with everything the Wildcat program had to offer. Harris, a two-way standout, was one of the reasons that Duarte was able to venture into the quarter-finals this season.
"I had a great time on my visit to Arizona," Harris said. "I haven't gone to a lot of colleges. This was my first visit and Arizona treated me good. I enjoyed it a lot."

"Arizona has a great coaching staff," Harris said. "I got along with the players there and a lot of them are from California. They were from where I was from and it felt like home.
"People are different from different areas of the country and since so many were from California, I didn't feel that far away from home," Harris said. "That was because the environment and the people that I talked to."
Though Harris plays on both sides of the ball every school that is recruiting him is for his skills as an offensive lineman. Harris was recently named MVP Lineman of his league for the season of 2006.
The talented behemoth has offers from UCLA, Arizona, San Diego State, Fresno State, Ole Miss and UTEP.
"I am going to visit UCLA this week officially (December 15th)," Harris said. "UCLA was always my childhood favorite team.
"I just like where they're at right now. They are competitive and to a bowl game every year.
"UCLA is coming to my house tonight," Harris said. "I'm meeting with Coach DeWayne Walker."
Arizona and Ole Miss have already been in the house. Fresno State has been by the school several times.
Washington is starting to get into the game and is beginning to recruit Harris hard. The Huskies called last week and are trying to set a visit in January with the talented lineman.
