Kailua (Hawaii) Kalaheo three-star inside linebacker Shawn Reed has landed his first scholarship offer and many more look like they could be on the way.
"I have an offer from Army in writing," Reed, who is one of Hawaii's top players, said.
"I also have a lot of schools showing me interest. They're places like Oregon State, SMU, Stanford, Washington, Washington State, San Diego State, Cal, Boise State, Air Force and Navy.
"There have even been a few new schools that have started to show me more interest, like Auburn and UNLV."
As a junior, Reed had 113 tackles in just eight games and was named all-area for his play.
Reed hopes to add even more offers to his resume with a strong senior season. He's also going to attend the Justwin camp in Maui on June 26-29 and then the Game Plan Camp on Oahu on June 30-July 3.
