Three-star ATH to visit UNC, Illinois

Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway athlete Brendon Felder isn't ready to narrow his list down too much, but he's starting to think about which schools he wants to take official visits to.
North Carolina and Illinois are schools that Felder wants to visit, and it looks like it is just a matter of time until he sets those trips up.

"I haven't set any visits up yet. I definitely will soon but just not quite yet," Felder said.
"I'll definitely be going to North Carolina, and I would probably say I'll take a visit to Illinois. I'll go to Illinois because I haven't been there. I haven't had a chance to look at the school and I'd like to check it out.
"I'll go to North Carolina because when I first went down there for camp I loved it. I didn't get to see the whole campus and everything, so I'd like to go back and see that. I'd like to go to a game and see what the atmosphere is like."
Felder and his Gateway teammates had their first scrimmage today. He said they performed pretty well but did not play their first-team for much of the morning.
"It definitely felt good to get out there, just playing football. I've played football my whole life so I love being out there. Adapting to a new system is tough but I'm getting used to it real well. I'm gonna be playing running back, wide receiver and safety, so they're definitely gonna be moving me around to get me the ball."
Felder said he wants to put the recruiting process on hold through the second game of his season, so he can help his team get off to as strong a start as possible.
