Three-star ATH taking his time

Three-star athlete Joshua Evans is staying focused on his final season at Irvington, N.J. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder wants to wait until later in the season to address recruiting and official visits.
"I haven't quite narrowed my list or thought about official visits," he said. "I've been talking about it and I'm trying to look for four or five schools."

Part of the reason Evans may be waiting is that he's still being evaluated by schools.
"I'm supposed to send film to Ohio State and they could offer and Tennessee may offer too," he said. "That would be really good because not a lot of Jersey guys get offers from those major schools. I'd love to have those schools on me."
Evans hasn't taken any unofficial visits this season either, his last trip was to Miami and Florida last month.
The No. 14 prospect in New Jersey helped Irvington to a 34-14 victory over the weekend.
"I think we're good," he said. "We're more humble and focused. We started good and finished good.
"I had a good game. I had an interception, 150-yards rushing, two touchdowns and I threw for another touchdown."
