Three-star ATH takes an unofficial to UNC

Garner, N.C. athlete Tony Morgan took the short trip over to Chapel Hill this weekend. The 6-foot-0, 188-pounder took an unofficial to North Carolina to check out the Tar Heels game versus South Carolina.
"Oh man, that was a really good visit for me," he said. "North Carolina and South Carolina are my top two choices. I finally got to see them both in action. South Carolina came out really strong and UNC fought the whole way. They came ready to play and could have won the game if not for a few mistakes. I like what I saw from both teams.

"North Carolina got down early and it was 21-7 at halftime. The coaches kept them focused and I liked that. I like what I saw from South Carolina because they had a really good defense. I know North Carolina is a rebuilding team, but I saw it with my own eyes. Butch Davis is making changes."
Morgan plans to take another visit in the near future to down to Columbia when South Carolina hosts Florida. The three-star prospect also mentioned an unofficial to East Carolina for a game yet to be scheduled in the future too.
As mentioned earlier, North Carolina and South Carolina are the top two schools for Morgan. Is he getting closer to a decision?
"It's getting harder," he said. "Every time I think I'm ready to make a decision something makes it harder."
On the season, Morgan has helped his team to an impressive 8-0 start.
"We're doing really well," he said. "I've played pretty good. I have 30 to 40 tackles, three interceptions and four total touchdowns including a kickoff return.
"I've seen a big improvement in my ability. Last year was my first playing defensive back and I had trouble with my backpedaling and stance. I improved that and got my 40 time lower. I think I've got my defensive back abilities down pat."
