Three-star athlete Jharron Armstrong holds one offer and has scheduled his first official visit to the school. When does the Washington (D.C.) Dunbar star plan to take the trip this fall?
"I've scheduled my official with Syracuse," he said. "I'm going up September 15th when they play Illinois.
"Syracuse is the only offer I've got right now and I'm in pretty regular contact with coach White. I think that's probably a great school for me, but I haven't been up there before. I want to go check it out."
Is Armstrong considering any other officials at this time?
"I'm not sure about others, we'll see what comes. I could commit on that trip maybe," he said. "I do also like Minnesota a lot although they haven't offered.
"Their coach keeps in contact a lot with me and seems like a cool guy."
Meanwhile, the No. 43 athlete in the country took a visit to Connecticut not too long ago.
"Connecticut was great," he said. "I talked to coach Ambrose, my recruiter and I think I did alright.
"They along with a lot of other schools recruiting me are waiting until my first two games to see how I do and then they'll go from there."
