Three-star ATH returns from Arkansas visit

Three-star athlete Craig Crawford out of Huntington, W.V. took his first official visit over the weekend. The 6-foot-2, 196-pounder made his way down to Arkansas to find out more about the Razorbacks.
"It was fun," he said. "I had a lot of fun.

"I got there on Saturday right before the game. It was crazy. There were a lot of people there and they beat undefeated Tulsa. It was different from other schools I've been to. Everybody was screaming. I also thought they played well.
"They scored some points and played good defense. They are looking at me as a wide receiver or safety and I saw they get their players in the game with a rotation."
Following the game, Crawford hung out with his host Matt Marshall.
"He's from New Jersey. We went to the basketball gym where they had music playing," he said. "Then I talked to him. He was a cool man. He isn't from down south like everyone else so I was able to connect with him better. He just told me how Coach Petrino plays his freshmen and everybody gets a chance play."
Before heading back home on Sunday, Crawford met with Petrino again.
"I talked to him about the offense," he said. "I like him. He's a young guy and seems like a cool person that I can relate to. He told me when they get on the practice field they want to win and I want to win too. I have a respect for that."
The No. 1 prospect in West Virginia has already scheduled his second official.
"I'm going to go to Purdue on November 22nd," he said. "They have not offered, but I think they will once I get film to them and they can evaluate it.
"I want to go there to see the fans. I hope they are jumping around and excited."
Currently that is Crawford's only other visit scheduled to date.
