Three-star ATH hoping for more offers

Three-star athlete Tyler Head continues to hold one offer. However, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder has a number of other schools interested and plans on hitting up camps this month to try to add to his total.
"I have an offer from Illinois," he said. "But, I don't know too much about them. I have to look into them some more."

Head is getting looks from several other schools.
"I have South Carolina, Auburn, Middle Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Florida, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan State, Maryland, Tennessee, Alabama State and South Alabama looking," he said. "The only other schools that have talked about offers are Michigan State and Maryland."
Head gave a few details about each of these two schools.
"Maryland came to see me at school and said they are very interested, but they want to see me next year," he said. "Michigan State said something similar. All of the schools want to see me at camp."
Speaking of camps, the three-star plans to head to a pair of schools.
"I'm going to Georgia Tech and Auburn," said Head. "Auburn is on July 14th."
So, does the Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County prospect like anyone?
"I guess I kind of like Florida, Georgia Tech, Alabama and South Carolina," he said. "I like the faster paced defensive teams."
Head is coming off a solid junior season that saw him post 55 tackles and two interceptions as he earned All-County honors as a cornerback.
