Three-Star ATH breaks silence

It has been about a month since Delando Johnson addressed his recruitment. In that time very little has changed for the three-star athlete from Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall.
"Right now everything is the same," said Johnson. "I'm waiting on offers from Tennessee, Ohio State and Penn State. I'm the next guy up for them. If they don't get a commitment for someone I could be getting an offer from one of them."

What is attracting the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Johnson to these programs?
"I have teammates and guys I've played against at Penn State," he explained. "At Ohio State there is a new coaching staff and they're winning and I think Tennessee is coming around as a program."
Johnson has offers from ten schools, including Boston College, Illinois and Wake Forest. He has said in the past that those programs along with Temple, Toledo and East Carolina stood out. Has any school pulled away from the pack?
"No not really," Johnson said. "I haven't ranked any schools yet. Right now I'm waiting for the season to end and think about recruiting then."
What kind of season is Calvert Hall having?
"We're 8-2 and got a first round bye in the playoffs," said Johnson. "We're definitely in the championship hunt."
So far this season, Johnson has racked up about 70 tackles, two interceptions and five forced fumbles.
