Three-star ATH adds four more offers

The May evaluation period ended with a bang for Wall, N.J. athlete Timothy Wright. The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder picked up four offers in the waning days to up his total to nine scholarships.
"I added four offers from Michigan State, Syracuse, Boston College and Maryland at the end of last month," he said. "They are all big offers and some good schools. I was sitting at five scholarships for a few weeks and then all of the sudden these offers popped out of nowhere. I'm really happy to get them."

Approaching double digit offers, does the three-star prospect have any favorites?
"I think Boston College, Maryland, Rutgers, Connecticut, Cincinnati, Michigan State and Syracuse stand out a bit," he said. "I like the atmosphere and environment at those schools. The people are there are nice too."
Wright plans to visit at least a few schools in the coming weeks.
"I'm looking to go to a few like Maryland, Rutgers and I'm trying for Syracuse," he said. "Those are the ones I have brochures on, but there may be others."
Visits could be very big for the No. 27 athlete in the country as he hopes to make a decision later this summer.
"After I take my visits I'm going to clear my vision and probably make a decision soon," he said. "That way, in case I get injured this season I don't have to worry about schools taking the scholarship away."
Although he hopes to decide soon, at this time Wright continues to claim no true leader. What is he looking for in a college?
"I'm looking for someplace I can enjoy myself for the next four years," he said. "I want to go and learn things I haven't yet and get a degree."
