Three standing out to 2016 QB

Reid Herring of Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook does not have a favorite school so far. The junior quarterback said the schools that he likes so far are Georgia, South Carolina and East Carolina.
"I like Georgia's program and what they are doing down there," said the 6-foot-3, 172-pound Herring. "I went to their campus. I like what they are doing, how they have everything under control and how they have the program going in a good direction.

"I like the state of South Carolina and I like that it is close to home," he said. "I also like their football program, their coaching staff and the fan base they have is pretty awesome too.
"I went to see ECU play North Carolina and they blew them out," Herring said. "Just to see what a quarterback can do in that system and how much success Shane Carden is having is very appealing to me. I like their offensive scheme and I like the atmosphere they have down there. It was a great experience. I am looking forward to talking to their coaching staff more and being on campus again. I am looking forward to visiting and seeing what it is all about."
Herring is also considering North Carolina, Duke, N.C. State and Arkansas. His most recent visit was to Wake Forest.
"It was good," said Herring. "I was able to talk to the coaching staff for a bit. I enjoyed it and it was a great atmosphere there. Their staff showed continuous interest with me and they told me to keep them updated with film and other stuff."
Herring feels like North Carolina and Duke are the schools that are recruiting him the hardest right now. Those two schools along with East Carolina and Wake Forest are the schools that he has been talking to the most lately.
