Three stand out to Mullen

COCOA BEACH, Fla. - Plenty off scholarship offers sit on the metaphorical table in front of Rivals100 cornerback Trayvon Mullen, Nearly a year before he'll sign his letter of intent, things are already getting tough to manage. He's in contact contact with college coaches and has hear every recruiting pitch there is.
It's why, early as it seems, the Coconut Creek (Fla.) High School star has already identified a few school that have piqued his interest. His list is not a hard list of frontrunners, but a few programs are certainly standing out.

"It's Miami, Alabama and Tennessee," Mullen said on Saturday. "There's more, but those are the three right now that re really standing out. There's more, though."
As for what sets the trip of apart from the barrel of other offers upon which Mullen sits, he says that's simple. His early list of favorites isn't about facilitates or training tables. It's not about depth charts, either. Instead, his opinions are based on relationships.
"I like how all three of them communicate with me," Mullen said. "They communicate with me every day. I like that. I've really gotten to know the schools, you know?
Obviously, Mullen's list of standouts is subject to change moving forward. It's why the four-star prospect intends to hit the road in the near future. He'll take some visits in the state and outside of it. Some schools he intends to see are included on his list of standouts. At least one isn't, though.
The first three official visit stops on his mind? Florida State, Tennessee and Alabama.
"I just want to see what the vibe is at those schools," Mullen said. "I want to see the players and how they treat each other. I just want to see the whole atmosphere."
The 6-foot-2 Mullen will play the 7-on-7 circuit with the powerhouse Florida Fire.
