Three stand out for Reuland

The top tight end on our board nationally is Mission Viejo's (Calif.) Konrad Reuland. With his size, hands and basketball background, we love the upside of the talented athlete. Reuland currently has six schools on his list and said three are standing out right now.
Reuland, 6-6, 240 pounds has been close to narrowing his list of schools down for the last month and has finally been able to make some progress in that department.

"The main three I like are Notre Dame, UCLA and USC," Reuland said. "Stanford is up there too and then Miami and Nebraska are kind of battling for the last spot. Notre Dame and UCLA are definitely recruiting me the hardest right now and I really like the way they both use the tight end.
"With USC, they're on top and just have a great football program. Stanford is a great all around school and then Miami and Nebraska both have such great tradition and I enjoyed my unofficial visits there in the summer."
Reuland had a chance to see two of his top schools go at on Saturday when USC beat Notre Dame 34-31 in what many feel was one of the best football games of the past decade.
"Oh man, I watched every second of it," Reuland said. "We even had homecoming last night and I was supposed to be there at 4:45 but I couldn't leave the house, I had to watch the whole game. Both of those two teams just competed so hard. When the clock ran out and the crowd ran on to the field, I was literally in shock because I just couldn't believe USC lost.
"You just don't expect to see USC ever lose a game and then when they gave them one more play and Leinart ran it in, it was just an unreal scene and maybe the best game I've ever seen."
Reuland said he hasn't set up any of his official visits yet but hopes to take at least one of his trips during the season.
"It's tough because my focus is on our football season during the year and we plan on playing into December," Reuland added. "Plus I have basketball and I'm going to be playing in the Army All-American game so I don't have a lot of weekends available. Our last league game is on a Thursday so I might try and talk to Coach (Bob) Johnson and see if I can take a visit that weekend.
"Then I might be able to squeeze in two after the playoffs are over. I would really like to have my decision made by Christmas and I might announce at the Army game if I know by then. I definitely want to take visits to Notre Dame, UCLA and USC for sure."
Reuland went on to further breakdown his top three.
"Notre Dame has great tradition, I like the direction the program is going in and I like how they use the tight end. That's a great offense they have and I think I would fit in well there. Same goes for UCLA, watching how they use Marcedes (Lewis) it's easy to see what my role in the offense would be. I like all the coaches a lot, it's close to home and like Notre Dame, it's a strong school academically."

They're a fun team to watch, I have some friends on the team and I like the coaches there also. They have probably only called about three times since September 1, so they're not on me as hard as the other schools but when I do talk to them, they tell me how much they like me and they'll definitely be in it until the end."Here to view this Link.
