Three stand out for Price

Citra (Fla.) North Marion tight end Sean Price has added 20 pounds to his frame over the past few months. That isn't the only thing that has grown for the 6-foot-4, 225-pound offensive weapon, as his offer list seems to swell by the day.
"I am definitely in the twenties now," Price said.

At this point, the offers claimed by Price include Alabama, Arkansas, Boston College, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Iowa State, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and South Florida.
Three of those offers, all from in-state schools, make up his early list of top schools.
"Schools that kind of stand out to me right now are Florida, USF, and Miami," Price said. "I have heard a lot about each of their programs. I like their coaches. I also feel they have pretty good football teams. I am looking forward to finding out much more about them as I continue on during this recruiting process."
The Central Florida prospect spoke a bit more in-depth on the three in-state schools he mentioned as early favorites.
Florida: "As a sophomore I got real close to the staff down there and really grew to like the school. Even though new coaches have come in, Coach (Will) Muschamp has spoken with me and we had a good talk. He has told me I am the caliber of tight end that he wants."
Miami: "I am real close to the coaches. The coach that came in there from USC (Brennan Carroll) is pretty cool and I like what he wants to do with the tight end. Miami has a lot of history at the tight end spot."
South Florida: "I know they are looking for a tight end. It is real close to home. I like the coaches that they have there. It is just a place that provides a real good opportunity."
This past weekend Price was supposed to make his way onto the campus of one of those schools, but that trip didn't go off as planned. He will make it this weekend however for a different reason and hopes to fit in an unofficial visit while there.
"I was supposed to go to USF on Saturday but I didn't have a ride," Price said. "I will be there this weekend for the BadgerSports 7-on-7 Camp. I hope to talk to the coaches there at that point."
Price also mentioned plans to visit Miami for a spring practice later this month.
With regards to a decision, the jumbo athlete has no time frame in mind and hopes to be able to take some visits to out-of-state schools in either an official or unofficial capacity.
"I want to go to some places that are far away," Price said. "I just want to see what they are like. I want to see how they are different."
As a junior, Price had 22 receptions for 530 yards and seven touchdowns.
