Three stand out for Duarte

Thomas Duarte has a nice list of offers and soon the Mater Dei, Calif., wide receiver will figure out which schools he wants to visit.
Oregon, UCLA and Washington stand out the most to the 6-foot-3, 225-pound three-star prospect who looked good at the NIKE Air Strike tournament this past weekend at Dana Hills but he said it's still a little early to name a leader.

"I really think Oregon, UCLA and Washington stand out the most," Duarte said.
"Visits are going to be very important. This is the next four years of my life. This is where I'll become a man and if I'm not comfortable there then I have to figure that out. I want to make sure it's the best fit for me. It has to be like a second home for me."
Over the next few weeks, Duarte said he's going to sit down with his family and make plans to take unofficial visits.
Those will be important.
The three-star said he'd definitely like to see Oregon and Washington and trips to Cal and Arizona State are also being considered.
"When I get the chance to, I'm talking it over with my parents, during our free time in the dead period I'm going to try to take visits to the schools but as of right now I'm just working with my team," Duarte said.
As for his commitment, Duarte said he's looking to make his pledge sometime before the season but if that doesn't happen then he'll wait until after his senior season.
In total, Duarte lists offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah and Washington.
