Three showing interest in DT Ukandu

Chibuzo Ukandu appears to be one of the region's top defensive tackles from the Class of 2014 and a few schools from the area are taking a major interest in him.
Charlotte, a program that is just starting up, has already offered the 6-foot-3, 250-pound prospect from Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School.

He will give the 49ers a look but he's also hoping for more.
"There's a possibility that I'll be camping at Penn State and Ohio State," he said.
Those two schools haven't shown a lot of interest yet but Ukandu said three other schools, two from the ACC and one from the Big East, have.
"UVa, Maryland and probably Rutgers are showing the most interest," he said. "I just don't have any favorites now so I'm open to everybody."
Ukandu visited Maryland for the Terps' spring game earlier this year. That was his first recruiting-related visit
"I went with my teammates and had a great time," he recalled.
Ukandu cited academics as a primary concern when it comes to choosing a college.
