Three schools impress Howard

Defensive lineman David Howard is still open to all the schools recruiting him, but three have caught his attention more than the others. Who is he looking at?
"At this point Northwestern, Boston College and Maryland are probably my three favorites," said Howard. "They've shown the most interest in me, so I'll put them up there. I'm still waiting for an offer from one of them.

"The coaches from Maryland and Boston College came by to see me and I gave them some film. I think they're going to evaluate it, see how the rest of my season goes and then decide what they're going to do. But until then I still like those three the most."
The 6-foot-3, 259-pound lineman from Silver Spring (Md.) Spring Brook is getting a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
"We're coming along," said Howard. "We're just 3-4 but I think we're definitely improving. I don't know how many tackles I have on the year but I do think I have 11 or 12 sacks. I was seeing a lot of doubt teams earlier in the year because I was playing nose guard. Now I'm at defensive end and getting to the quarterback a lot more."
