Three offers already in for NYs LeGrande

Staten Island (N.Y.) Curtis athlete Dominic LeGrande is up to three scholarship offers already. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has picked up offers from the ACC and Big East amongst others. Do any colleges lead for the Empire State athlete?
"I've got offers from Syracuse, Duke and Hofstra," he said. "I actually got the offer from Duke when I was a sophomore and Syracuse offered me recently when I went on their junior day.

"I like the Syracuse one a lot. On my visit there, they made me feel at home and I like the dome. I also like coach Robinson, he's a great guy that is honest, straight forward and real down-to-earth."
The visits this spring aren't over for LeGrande who plans to head to Boston College on Sunday.
"I don't know what to expect, I've never been up there," he said. "I just want the coaches to show me around and see if I fit in with their program.
"From what I hear, I fit their new offense because they want a dual-threat quarterback that can run and throw."
Aside from a trip to Chestnut Hill, the New York prospect plans to head to Connecticut this spring along with the Nike Combine in New Jersey and the Penn State summer camp.
LeGrande earned all-city, all-borough and all-state honors after accounting for 2,600 yards of offense and 22 touchdowns as a junior.
