Three new offers for Dray

Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic tight end James Dray has received three new offers, bringing his total to six well before the May evaluation period.

"I received offers from Pitt, UConn and Boston College this past week," said the 6-foot-5, 226-pounder. "Those go with my offers from Rutgers, Stanford and Virginia Tech. I also like Michigan State and Notre Dame."

Dray, who caught 30 passes last season for 456 yards and four scores, likes something different about each of the three schools who have offered.

"I went to Boston College last summer for camp and I was really impressed with thier campus and I really liked the coaches," he said. "I went to UConn for a basketball game and I liked the coaches there as well and what I saw of the campus. I haven't seen Pitt yet, but I know of the reputation of their football program so I'm interested in them as well."

Dray doesn't have a favorite yet.

"Growing up in an Irish Catholic family, I always followed Notre Dame when I was little, but now I'm just as interested in them as I am with all my favorites."

Dray plans on camping at Boston College, Notre Dame, Rutgers and a few other places this summer. He will attend the NIKE Camp at State College, Pa. and will be at the Elite College Combine at Giants Stadium on May 5.
