Three lead for Tennessee RB

Three-star Cleveland (Tenn.) running back Levonte Barber has wrapped up his senior season and now turns his focus toward making official visits.
“We got upset in the first round of the playoffs,” he said, “so that was a little disappointing. But I had a real good year. I finished with about 1,700 yards and 20 touchdowns.”

Barber (6-0, 195, 4.45) says he expects to play host to one of the main schools on his list of favorites this week.
“South Carolina is supposed to come down this week and talk to me,” he said. “I think we’re going to be setting up an official visit with them. It looks like I’ll have at least three in January – South Carolina, Wake Forest and maybe Tennessee. I haven’t decided about Tennessee. I’ve been there so many times, I may not take an official. But those are my top three schools.
“I’m also looking at maybe Louisville and North Carolina.”
All but the Volunteers have offered Barber, who is rated the No. 39 running back in the nation by Rivals.com.
