After months of mulling over offers, athlete Devon Lyons has narrowed his list of favorites down to three schools. Who's in the running for the Keystone State prospect?
"I'm just looking at Michigan, Ohio State and Miami right now," said Lyons. "I'll choose between those three. I plan on announcing my decision at the very beginning of February, and it's looking like it will be one of those three.
"A lot of it has to do with their consistent success, but that's not all. I've been impressed with their coaching staffs and the schools themselves. I was impressed with everything I saw while I was on the visits to each place."
Lyons was also considering Notre Dame and Michigan State, two other schools he officially visited.
"When I actually sat down and thought about things, I realized that with those three schools, I'd be pretty safe picking any one of them. You know they'll have good football teams, you know the academics will be great for you, and just the overall experience will be something to always look back on and learn from."
Lyons is rated the No. 5 safety in the nation and is a 4-star prospect.
