Three going strong after Simmons

Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County defensive end Jeffery Simmons has received his share of attention on the recruiting trail, but three schools have been showing more than the others.
"Right now I have Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Alabama on me real hard right now," Simmons said. "I've been talking to them a lot so far and I'm planning to camps at all three schools. Right now I know I have plans to go to all three schools."

Each of the schools has definitely done their part to pique Simmon's interest.
Ole Miss: "Well every time I go, just the environment they have, and the coaches, and just being around the tour guides and all, they just show me a good time."
Mississippi State: "They're really the same too because Mississippi State is even closer. They're like 30 minutes away. It's just right up the road and it feels like another Noxubee County. It's the same environment."
Alabama: "When I go over there it just amazes me how the facilities and everything are, and it just feels great to be over there."
Auburn, Vanderbilt, and Memphis have also stepped up their interest, and Simmons is keeping his options open at this time. He also plans to attend as many camps as possible this summer with a stop at Alabama June 14 and a trip to Mississippi State's Big Dawg camp in July.
While he does not haveplans to narrow his list, he does know what he is looking for in a future program.
"It's just the environment, the coaching staff, and depth chart really," Simmons said. "You have to look at the education, but also if you're going to play when you get there."
