Three favorites emerge for Cyburt

Colby Cyburt doesn't plan to schedule any official visits until probably after the season because he's focused on finishing strong at Mission Viejo, Calif., but Stanford, UCLA and Colorado have emerged as his three favorites and some unofficial trips are coming up soon.
Cyburt, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound three-star offensive tackle, is expected to attend the Stanford-Oregon matchup in a few weeks and he's also planning a trip to UCLA sometime soon.

The trip to Stanford is especially important because it's such a big game against the Ducks with title implications attached.
"I've been up there quite a few times but to get to know the coaches better, it's always good to get up there and see the atmosphere," Cyburt said.
"It's good to be there so I have a better idea what it's like to go to school there. It's going to be the biggest game of the Pac-12 season so seeing both of those teams get after it is going to be fun."
UCLA, Stanford and Colorado have emerged for Cyburt, rated No. 48 at offensive tackle in the 2012 class, but Arizona, Arizona State, Boston College, Harvard, Oregon State, San Diego State, Utah and Washington have also offered and he said other official visits could happen as well.
It's still too early to rule anything out.
At this point in the season, Cybury is focused on finishing strong and then getting into the playoffs. Scheduling visits - and a commitment - will come after the season when Cyburt has more time to consider all his options.
"It's pretty tough to plan anything not knowing about playoffs yet," Cyburt said.
"I would say those three would be a top three. I don't want to exclude other schools but there really wouldn't be a No. 1 right now."
Mission Viejo faces four-star offensive tackle Kyle Murphy and his San Clemente, Calif., squad next weekend.
