Three Bishop McNamara juniors to watch

Forestville (Md.) Bishop McNamara features three 2007 prospects to keep an eye on including safety Rayvon Williams, linemen DaQuan Mills and Vernon Bond. Which colleges have Bryce Bevill's prospects been hearing from and what makes each of them stand out?
"Rayvon is a two-year starter and is an outstanding defensive back," he said. "He's a very physical player for his 5-foot-10, 165-pound stature and in college he'll definitely be on the defensive side of the ball. He's the type of player that wants to initiate contact.

"He's leading our team in rushing with 427 yards and two touchdowns. He also has four pass breakups and is third on the team in tackles."
Williams currently has received mail from Penn State, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
Another one of Bevill's prospects is 5-foot-10, 315-pound lineman DaQuan Mills.
"He's a really physical guy and a two-year starter for us," he said. "He's a very intelligent football player and really strong, he can bench 370-pounds. This year he's been hampered with a broken hand so his stats are up and down."
Mills is receiving mail from Maryland, North Carolina and Penn State. With his height, does his coach think he can make it to Division I?
"A lot of the schools are showing interest now, but I think once they see him they'll shy away because of the height," he said. "He's definitely a Division II player, but I don't see him growing any more."
Finally, one other prospect that is starting to receive interest is 6-foot-2, 325-pound lineman Vernon Bond.
"Vernon moves very well and is another kid that is really physical," he said. "I think he's definitely a Division I kid that could play either guard or defensive tackle. When he has his wind, he's killing them out there and always around the ball. He's a solid football player and very capable."
So far Bond has received interest from Maryland.
