Three Big Ten schools top Fielders list

While Oshkosh (Wis.) North offensive lineman Zach Fielder has not yet received a scholarship offer, some fine schools are showing interest.
When asked which ones he is interested in, Fielder said, "Michigan State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa mainly. And Western Michigan. All of them have called me.

"I've gone to the Wisconsin-Bowling Green game. That's the only one I've had time to go to.
"I have schools I like more than others. I like Michigan State a lot. I like Wisconsin a lot. And I like Minnesota a lot. I've been to all three for spring practices or camps."
What does Fielder like about each school?
"I like the environment at Wisconsin," Fielder said. "I like the campus, the coaching staff, it's close to home, it's just a good atmosphere.
"Minnesota is relatively close as well. They have a great offensive line and a great offensive line coach.
"Michigan State also has a great offensive line and offensive line coach. I just like it there. The campus is good. Everything is good there."
The 6-foot-6 and 314-pound Fielder is the No. 10 prospect in the state of Wisconsin in the Rivals.com player rankings. While his team has yet to win a game this season, Fielder has played well on both sides of the ball. He is starting at both offensive and defensive tackle.
